Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse in Chesapeake, VA, for a contract role that offers a unique opportunity to work with neuro-intensive care patients. You'll be primarily responsible for caring for patients with neurological conditions such as post-neurosurgical recovery, strokes, and those with external ventricular drains (EVD). This assignment involves night shifts of 12 hours, with the possibility to float to step-down units, emergency departments, or medical-surgical floors as needed. Your expertise in neuro-specific procedures, ventilator management, IV titration, telemetry, and emergency response will be essential in providing top-tier care. This role is ideal for seasoned neuro nurses looking to make a difference in a fast-paced, specialized environment, all while exploring stunning waterways and outdoor trails around Chesapeake.
