Job Description:

Join our Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team as a Registered Nurse specializing in ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder techniques. This role offers the opportunity to work within a vibrant pediatric vascular access team, handling patients from infancy to young adults. Your expertise will be essential in placing IVs efficiently and accurately, ensuring comfort and safety for your young patients. The assignment features rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, providing a balanced mix of day and night duties. Experience in pediatric HemeOnc, ICU, or similar settings is required, and new travelers are welcome. Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Shift: 12-hour rotating (7 AM-7:30 PM, 11 AM-11:30 PM, 3 PM-3:30 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Start times: Multiple start options, including 7 AM, 11 AM, and 7 PM
Special Requirements: Pediatric vascular access experience, ultrasound-guided IV placement, vein finder skills, pediatric HemeOnc or ICU experience preferred, BLS certification required. Weekend work required. Local candidates accepted with a rate differential.
