Job Description:

Join a busy surgical team as an Operating Room Technician in Springfield, IL. This contract offers the opportunity to work in a Level I trauma center, assisting in a variety of surgical procedures across specialties such as general surgery, ENT, neurosurgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and plastic surgery. You'll support a caseload averaging 50-60 cases daily, float within your scope to meet departmental needs, and gain experience in teaching hospital settings. The role involves assisting during surgeries, setting up and sterilizing equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of operative activities. With a structured day shift, you’ll find a professional yet engaging environment that values your hands-on skills and expertise in surgical procedures.
