Job Description:

This travel assignment places you on a Medical/Surgical step-down unit focusing on neuro, stroke, respiratory, and cardiac care. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing support for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. As a vital team member, you'll perform tasks such as titrating cardiac drips, monitoring telemetry, and managing diverse medical conditions within a closely supported environment. The role offers the chance to experience a variety of patient cases in a collaborative setting, all while wearing navy blue scrubs and working within Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. This assignment is perfect for a nurse looking for a dynamic and varied clinical experience in a well-organized unit with a maximum of 36 beds and an average census of 30.
