Job Description:

Join a renowned Level I Trauma Center in Charleston as a Certified OR Technician (Surgical Tech). In this contract position, you will work night shifts, 4 days a week, 12-hour nights from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, including rotating weekends and holiday rotations. You’ll be supporting a busy, high-acuity surgical environment within a 21-suite main operating room that handles diverse cases such as trauma, transplants, neuro (spines and crani), ENT flaps, robotics (Da Vinci Xi), and more. The role requires floating within scope to meet unit needs and working alongside a skilled team of RNs and CSTs. Your responsibilities will focus on scrubbing and assisting in a variety of complex surgeries, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide spectrum of surgical procedures in an academic, Magnet-designated hospital known for cutting-edge technology and exceptional standards.
