Job Description:

This travel Med Surg RN assignment offers a compelling opportunity to work on the 5th and 6th floors of a busy hospital in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. You'll spend your nights providing bedside care on the Med Surg and Telemetry units, floating between two floors to ensure the needs of diverse patient populations—orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice—are met. Expect to handle patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:7 depending on acuity. You're responsible for delivering quality care during 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on teamwork, efficiency, and clinical excellence. This role requires flexibility, a quick adaptation to new challenges, and a professional approach to patient needs. Experience with Cerner EMR and a royal blue scrub dress code are part of the daily routine.
