Job Description:

Join a fast-paced medical-surgical unit specializing in adult care, including cardiac and stroke patients. This role involves managing frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges, requiring precise titration of IV drips such as heparin, insulin, and octreotide. You'll work alongside dedicated nurse aides and telemetry techs, interpreting monitor data and collaborating with charge nurses during 12-hour night shifts. The environment demands teamwork, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail—plus, a dash of positive energy to keep morale high during busy nights. Expect to navigate a unit that emphasizes safety with specialized equipment like code carts and LUCAS machines, all while providing top-notch care through diligent monitoring and intervention.

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Duration: 36 hours per week, 13-week contract with additional RTO restrictions
