Job Description:

Join an engaging correctional healthcare environment as a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical and telehealth units. In this role, you'll float across various Oncology Medical-Surgical and PCU units within a secure Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections facility. Expect to manage patients with active cancer diagnoses, oversee complex medication protocols, and respond to emergent situations using your expertise in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and respiratory care. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of corrections healthcare, all while honing your skills in a controlled, team-oriented setting. The shift is a 12-hour night rotation, where you’ll contribute to the safety and well-being of inmates in a secure environment—an experience that blends medical expertise with strong safety protocols.
