Job Description:

Join a reputable academic medical center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as a registered nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. This contract role offers 12-hour day shifts, where you'll be responsible for caring for general medical patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, infections, wounds, and more. Expect to interpret cardiac rhythms, perform wound care, handle chest tubes and IV starts, and manage non-titrating drips like Heparin and Lasix. The setting is fast-paced but supportive, with assigned CNAs and round-the-clock support from hospitalists, residents, and telemetry techs.
