Job Description:

Join this reputable academic medical center in Winston-Salem as a MedSurg/Tele RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work 12-hour daytime shifts, providing care for adult medical patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, infections, wounds, and more. In this role, you'll manage chest tubes, trachs, IV starts, wound vacs, and cardiac rhythm interpretation, with the opportunity to handle central line blood draws and non-titrating drips like Heparin and Lasix. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, you'll contribute to a team supported by CNAs, RTs, hospitalists, and residents, all while working within a busy, Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital environment. Expect a chance to sharpen your skills in a well-equipped unit with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing.
