Job Description:

Join a renowned short-term acute care hospital in St. Louis as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse on a 12-hour day shift. In this role, you'll be part of a dedicated team providing specialized psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients, many with co-morbid medical conditions. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center within a Magnet and Teaching hospital, where you will handle medication administration, IV starts, blood glucose monitoring, and participate in milieu restraint applications. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating across various psychiatric units, sometimes floating to other areas, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient comfort. This position challenges your clinical skills and offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to patient recovery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
