Job Description:

Join a reputable teaching hospital in Winston-Salem, NC, for a 13-week Contract RN role on the MedSurg/Tele unit. This position offers the chance to work with a variety of medical patients, including those with CHF, COPD, infections, wounds, and more. Expect to manage patient care in a 20-bed unit, with a focus on wound management, IV starts, chest tubes, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and non-titrating drips like Heparin and Lasix. You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment, float within scope, and collaborate with a dedicated team including CNAs, hospitalists, and residents. Not only will you experience daily clinical challenges, but you'll also enjoy a support staff that includes 24/7 phlebotomy, RT, and monitoring technology. This assignment offers a balanced schedule with 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend rotation, and holiday work expected at 50%. Royal blue scrubs required, and free parking is available on-site.
