Job Description:

Join us as a registered nurse in a 20-bed Medical-Surgical/Tele unit at a Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center in Winston-Salem. This contract offers an engaging mix of patient care involving CHF, COPD, and other general medical conditions, with a focus on wound management, chest tube care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation. You'll work 12-hour daytime shifts, gaining experience in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team that includes CNAs, hospitalists, and residents. The assignment is designed for clinicians with at least two years of MedSurg experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Be prepared to float within the hospital as needed, with full orientation provided. This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills in a teaching hospital setting while enjoying a dynamic work schedule and access to modern technology like EPIC EMR and Alaris pumps.
