Job Description:

Join a renowned teaching hospital in Winston-Salem as a MedSurg RN on night shift. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a bustling 20-bed unit equipped with advanced technology like bedside monitors and EPIC electronic medical records. You'll handle a variety of medical conditions such as CHF, COPD, infections, wounds, and more, with a patient ratio of 1:5. Your skills in managing chest tubes, IV starts, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation will be essential. The role requires at least two years of MedSurg experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications. This assignment stands out with its comprehensive support team, including hospitalists and respiratory therapists available around the clock, and the chance to float across the hospital within your scope of practice.
