Job Description:

This contract position calls for an experienced RN specializing in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You'll be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, managing assessments, and providing critical support during their immediate post-operative phase. The work primarily involves overseeing patient recovery with a focus on safety and comfort, utilizing GE monitors and Meditech electronic medical records. Expect a schedule of four 10-hour days, with rotating days off, in a setting where quick thinking and proactive communication are essential. This assignment offers a chance to work in a close-knit, technologically advanced PACU environment, emphasizing assessment and recovery procedures like cardioversion and EKGs.
