Job Description:

Join our team as a Surgical Technologist in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for a rewarding travel assignment focused on open heart surgery procedures. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you'll support the surgical team by preparing operating rooms, passing instruments, and maintaining sterile techniques. This role offers the chance to participate in complex surgeries, including emergency call shifts, and to work alongside experienced professionals in a thriving hospital setting. Your main responsibilities will involve assisting in open heart surgeries, but flexibility to support other surgical specialties is also important. Expect a Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour days, and a rotation that includes participation in emergency call every third week.
