Job Description:

This telemetered nursing role offers the chance to work on a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit in West Burlington, Iowa, during 12-hour night shifts. The position requires self-study of telemetry strips upon acceptance and passing a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week—think of it as your entry ticket to a high-quality, engaging nursing experience. You'll be delivering patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments in collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team. The role involves working with geriatric, adult, and medical/surgical patients, emphasizing both technical skill and professional interaction. ACLS certification is mandatory, and familiarity with Cerner EMR is necessary. The contract spans approximately 13 weeks with a typical 36-hour workweek, with potential overtime opportunities.
