Job Description:

This RN contract positions you in the MedSurg department, working on three interconnected units where staff seamlessly move between beds 3 East (24 beds), 3 North (17 beds), and 2 North (15 beds). You'll focus on post-operative recovery, managing general, orthopedic, and podiatry surgeries, alongside general medical cases like diabetes, CHF, COPD, cellulitis, surgical drains, wound vacs, and more. This role emphasizes hands-on experience with patients on telemetry and involves coordinating care with monitors and techs. The environment offers a variety of clinical challenges that keep your skills sharp, all while working 12-hour day shifts that support a balanced work-life routine.
