Job Description:

This contract offers a focused opportunity in a specialized cardiovascular unit caring for patients with intermediate needs and those recovering from surgical procedures like thoracic surgery, EP, cath lab, and structural heart interventions. As a registered nurse, you will manage patients with cardiac and vascular diagnoses, including CHF, A fib RVR, CVAs, and post-surgical cases. Expect to titrate IV drips such as amio, nitro, and epi, and work alongside a team supported by hospitalists and intensivists operating 24/7. You’ll be responsible for interpreting telemetry strips, adjusting medications, and providing direct patient monitoring in a fast-paced environment that values your clinical expertise. The shift structure includes 12-hour days, with every other weekend work, offering a rhythm that balances professional engagement with personal time.

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Shift: 12-hour days (06:30-19:00 and 18:30-07:00)
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
OTR: Upfront for 7 days within the 13-week contract; no additional RTO approved beyond that.
