Job Description:

This travel physical therapy contract offers an opportunity to work in an acute inpatient setting, managing a caseload of 8-10 patients daily with cases including total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis. You will be involved in evaluating and developing treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and applying your understanding of pathology and lab values. The schedule features 10-hour days, primarily from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, with some weekend and holiday rotations. This assignment is perfect for a therapist eager to immerse themselves in a busy hospital environment and bring their expertise to a variety of complex cases. The team includes PTAs, and the setting emphasizes teamwork and communication, with an emphasis on patient functional improvement.
