Job Description:

Join our team as a respiratory therapist in Alton, IL, for a 13-week assignment. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing essential RT services in inpatient and ER settings. Your duties will include performing general respiratory therapy tasks such as drawing ABGs, managing ventilators, and assisting with treatments. This role offers a hands-on experience where you'll be the go-to RT in-house, operating equipment like Vents, Cpap, and Bipap, alongside a hospitalist and ER physician available 24/7. The environment is lively and fast-paced, ideal for RTs who thrive in autonomous roles with a supportive team. Expect to work every other weekend with flexible scheduling options, and occasional on-call assistance based on census needs. The department features a dedicated lead supervisor during daytime hours and encourages professional appearance, with flexibility for casual dress when in the field.
