Job Description:

This interim assignment places you in the IMU - Intermediate Care Unit, where you'll work within a 30-bed environment that combines both private and semi-private rooms. Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting telemetry strips, titrating various drips such as Amiodarone and Heparin, and managing patients with conditions like chest pain, arrhythmias, and post-procedure care post-Caths. The role involves coordinate with RTs managing high-tech respiratory equipment and collaborating with a team that includes charge nurses, clinical assistants, and CNA staff. Expect to handle patient acuity levels that require a keen eye for detail and fast decision-making during 12-hour night shifts. The unique aspect of this assignment is the opportunity to work with advanced telemetry monitoring and participate in a fast-paced, yet highly organized, care team that handles complex cardiac cases, ensuring every night brings a new challenge and learning opportunity.
