Job Description:

This contract position involves working in a hospital setting with a focus on cardiac medical and surgical patients, including those post procedures like cath lab interventions, cardiac surgeries, and device insertions. As part of the team, you'll manage patients with conditions such as arrhythmias, chest pain, CHF, and post-surgical recovery, often handling complex cases that require precision and quick judgment. The role includes titrating medications like Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, and Amiodarone, and managing post-procedure devices such as TR bands. Expect to collaborate with a dedicated telemetry team in a unit that operates around the clock, with a mix of RN and tech staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient status, managing post-procedural care, and responding to evolving patient needs—all while utilizing electronic telemetry monitors. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in a fast-paced, cardiovascular-focused environment while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes.
