Job Description:

This assignment places you in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Phoenix. You will be responsible for managing trauma, burns, and pediatric transfers, working 12-hour night shifts. The role involves performing specialized nursing procedures such as Foley catheter insertion, central line dressing changes, and participating in SIMs Labs to demonstrate sterile technique competence. Float policy allows coverage across four nearby ER facilities, adding variety to your nights. Expect to engage with a team of experienced MDs, midlevels, and nurse aides, supporting critically ill patients while adhering to strict protocols. This is a chance to apply your trauma experience in a setting that demands quick thinking and technical skill, with opportunities for educational growth through lifts, restraints, and wound care training.
