Job Description:

This RNFA role offers a chance to work in cardiac surgical environments that require advanced vein harvesting skills using endoscopic techniques. The position involves performing vein endoscopies and assisting during complex cardiac procedures, with opportunities to work across various surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedics, gynecology, and thoracic surgeries when not in cardiac cases. Job Specifics:

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Shift: 8 days of 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Call requirement: 12-18 days per month
Weekend requirement: 2-3 weekends per month
This assignment welcomes STFA and RNFA candidates, with a preference for those holding 5 years of experience in vein harvesting and CVOR. Previous travel experience is strongly preferred, and proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting is essential. Float coverage includes general surgery departments such as orthopedics, vascular, gynecology, thoracic, and general surgeries, especially when cardiac cases are not scheduled.
