Job Description:

This radiology technologist role at Central Vermont Medical Center offers a hands-on experience performing routine imaging procedures across various modalities, including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy. The position involves working in a community-based hospital setting, helping to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced environment. Shifts are variable, primarily scheduled in 8-hour blocks, with on-call responsibilities covering nights, weekends, and holidays. You'll be part of a team of over 40 staff members, often working alongside other technologists or alone during the third shift. Your skills in CT/X-ray are essential for performing routine scans, contrast injections, and fluoroscopy, contributing directly to patient diagnosis. This assignment is an excellent opportunity to refine your radiography skills and experience a variety of imaging procedures in a supportive hospital atmosphere.
