Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers an engaging opportunity to work alongside dedicated medical teams in a busy hospital setting. You’ll be responsible for fetal monitoring at both basic and intermediate levels, managing labor progress, performing cervical dilation checks, and administering medication titrations such as oxytocin and magnesium. The role also involves supporting cesarean sections as a circulating RN and providing postpartum care in the PACU. The shift consists of 12-hour day hours, with every other weekend coverage, and a focus on maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. Expect to utilize computerized documentation systems like EPIC, and ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols. Previous travel experience is preferred, and required certifications include BLS and NRP.
