Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse role offers the chance to work on a unit caring for adults and geriatric patients, including those with complex needs such as insulin and heparin drips, wound management, and respiratory support with occasional BiPAP use. You'll be part of an Inclement Weather Team, ready to respond to storm or disaster situations, which adds a layer of purpose and unpredictability to the assignment. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with flexibility for 36 or 48 hours per week. During this assignment, you'll work in EPIC and PYXIS EMR systems, and handle procedures like dressing changes and high-flow oxygen therapy. A thorough orientation process will prepare you for the role, and pass EKG testing is required prior to start. Note that this position does not provide scrub uniforms, and working holidays is expected.
