Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-26 week contract in Wilmington, NC. This role involves managing a variety of complex cases, including severe bone, joint, and soft tissue injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and neurological trauma. The nurse will be responsible for administering heparin drips, managing central and peripheral lines, performing blood product administration, and providing wound care. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts with a typical weekly schedule of 48 hours, providing excellent patient support in a fast-paced surgical unit. Be prepared for occasional floating to similar units and participation in storm or disaster response teams. This assignment offers an opportunity to practice a broad skill set in a challenging environment while experiencing the coastal charm of Wilmington.
