Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical Surgical RNs in Wilmington, NC, where you will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including those requiring insulin and heparin drips, wound care, and respiratory support like high flow oxygen and short-term BiPAP. This 13-week assignment places you on a night shift, with 12-hour shifts scheduled from 18:45 to 07:15, working every other weekend and being available for holiday coverage. You'll be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team and may be called upon during storms, disasters, or mass casualty events, including potential COVID patient exposure. As a night charge nurse, your leadership will be essential in managing patient care and unit operations. This role also requires passing EKG testing prior to start and working within EPIC and PYXIS systems. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience, EPIC proficiency, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, critical setting that may involve storm response and disaster readiness.
