Job Description:

Join our team as a Stepdown/PCU RN on a 12-hour night shift in Springfield, Illinois. This contract position offers a chance to work in a Level I trauma center, providing specialized care to patients recovering from cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, or surgical procedures. You will be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias, managing telemetry equipment, administering IV therapies, and responding to emergency situations using rapid response teams. The role is tailored for experienced RNs with at least one year of prior cardiovascular or telemetry experience. Flexibility within scope and the ability to float as needed are important, and a valid IL license is required. The assignment encourages a work-life balance with a four-day workweek and the possibility of accommodating a block schedule.
