Job Description:

Join a busy Neurosciences unit in Columbia, Missouri, for a 36-hour weekly contract as a Medical Surgical - Neuro Registered Nurse. You will be working in a vibrant 24-bed unit that specializes in neurological conditions, with a focus on stroke care. Your role involves floating between units as needed, providing specialized nursing support during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This assignment offers the opportunity to experience a fast-paced environment where your expertise in neuro patients will make a difference. The position requires at least one year of experience, BLS certification, and familiarity with NIH and ACLS protocols is preferred. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Be prepared for physical activity, including ambulating and reaching, with some contact with contagious illnesses. Working weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather is part of the package, providing a comprehensive travel experience.
