Job Description:

Join a busy hospital laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Technologist on a contract basis. This role involves working evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week over a minimum of 13 weeks. You will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic tests, accurately analyzing samples such as turbid specimens and abnormal cells, and utilizing advanced systems like Sysmex and CellaVision. The setting is a large hospital with over 600 beds, where handling a high volume of diverse and challenging samples is part of the daily routine. Candidates with prior experience in similar large hospital labs, particularly in neonatal units and with differential counts, will find it easier to transition smoothly into this position. This assignment offers a great opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment while contributing to critical diagnostic processes.
