Job Description:

Join our team as a CT Technologist in Riverton, where you'll be performing diagnostic CT exams using state-of-the-art imaging equipment. This role involves verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records to ensure appropriateness, and interviewing patients to gather medical histories and assess risk factors. You’ll explain procedures and potential side effects of administered pharmaceuticals, set up imaging equipment, acquire high-quality images, and review them for initial observations. In addition, you'll communicate findings to radiologists, recognize and respond to emergencies, and provide post-procedure instructions. The position offers an opportunity to mentor residents and technologists, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and take call/standby duties as required. This assignment is perfect for someone who enjoys both technical work and engaging in process enhancements within radiology.

Job Specifics:

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Shift: 12 hour days, Thursday through Saturday (6 am - 6 pm)
Duration: Approximately 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment
