Job Description:

Join the esteemed team at American Family Children's Hospital as a NICU Registered Nurse on a 12-hour day shift. In this role, you'll care for critically ill newborns and infants, managing complex medical and surgical cases in a state-of-the-art 26-bed NICU. Your work will involve supporting post-op patients, overseeing g-tubes, and managing trach/vents, with experience in invasive and non-invasive ventilation modes. Epic electronic medical record experience is preferred, and you'll be expected to pass a telemetry test, bringing your basic arrhythmia skills to the table. This assignment offers a chance to work in a nationally recognized pediatric center known for family-centered care, in a setting that combines technical challenges with a nurturing atmosphere. The shift runs from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional weekend requirements every six weeks. Your commitment involves 36 hours per week over a 13-week duration, providing ample opportunity to hone your NICU expertise while enjoying the vibrant city of Madison.
