Job Description:

Join a busy surgical ward in Oklahoma City, where you'll be a vital part of a 13-week assignment providing skilled nursing care during overnight hours. This role involves managing post-operative patients, including those with drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGTs, or DHTs. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient responses, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and assisting physicians with minor procedures. You'll work closely with families to share care plans and ensure smooth discharges, all while navigating a unit that occasionally features step-down patients. It's an excellent chance to refine your surgical nursing skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values your expertise in acute care settings.
