Job Description:

Join a team on a busy surgical transplant floor where you'll be responsible for providing nursing care to post-surgical kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients, as well as pre-transplant evaluations. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in monitoring for rejection, infection, and medication management. Expect to assist physicians with examinations, document patient responses, and support patient and family education during hospital stays. The role involves working on a mixed med/surg unit with a focus on acute care, requiring attention to detail and clinical expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses with stepdown or PCU experience and transplant familiarity to make a real impact in a specialized setting.
