Job Description:

Join a critical care ICU assignment in Colorado Springs, where you'll step into a varied and challenging environment that includes MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU units. This 13-week travel contract offers 12-hour day shifts, giving you the chance to manage complex, high-acuity patients with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:1 to 1:3, depending on patient needs. The role involves titrating critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics, with support from respiratory therapists. The position requires adaptability, as floating within the zone—including hospitals in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City—is expected. No home base facility is required, and you'll float where needed, ensuring a dynamic and varied experience. Daily responsibilities include interpreting telemetry, assisting with respiratory equipment like vents and BiPaps, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering top-tier ICU care.
