Job Description:

Join this ICU float nurse role based around Colorado Springs, where you'll provide specialized care in a mixture of MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU settings. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, covering an intense and rewarding environment that requires adaptability, as you'll float across multiple units within a 60-mile radius. Your responsibilities include managing critically ill patients with high acuity, titrating various drips such as vasopressors, sedation, and heparin, and interpreting telemetry strips—all while collaborating with RT staff for ventilator management. This assignment offers a chance to experience a variety of ICU environments without a fixed home base, making it both a challenging and enriching opportunity for seasoned ICU nurses.
