Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Orange, California, as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift. This contract role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a busy, well-equipped maternity ward where you'll assist in circulating during labor and delivery procedures. Expect to support high-acuity cases in a Magnet-designated facility with 426 beds, providing critical care for mothers and newborns. As part of this assignment, you'll handle a variety of clinical tasks, ensuring smooth operations during overnight hours. The role demands at least two years of experience in a large hospital setting, with specific certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced preferred. This position offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week, with the possibility of scheduled days exceeding every other week to meet unit needs. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment where your expertise and circulation skills are essential, especially during weekends when shifts may be extended to maintain optimal patient flow.
