Job Description:

Join our team as a MedSurg/Tele RN on a 12-hour night shift contract, offering a chance to work at a full-service teaching hospital with 874 licensed beds in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves managing adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, CHF exacerbation, and more, primarily within the ADTU and satellite units designed to decompress emergency and specialty care areas. Enjoy the challenge of interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing chest tubes, and handling various drains and lines—all within a supportive environment that encourages teamwork and professionalism. The assignment provides an opportunity to hone your skills in a high-acuity setting while experiencing the dynamic atmosphere of a Level I Trauma Center that is also a designated Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Prepare to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including resource nurses, secretaries, phlebotomists, and hospitalists, all committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes. This contract not only emphasizes clinical expertise but also values your ability to adapt and work across multiple units and facilities as needed.
