Job Description:

This contract position places you in a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit where you will be working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. You'll be providing skilled nursing support in a heavy telemetry environment, managing patients with ventilators, trachs, sepsis, trauma, and other complex conditions. The role requires a resilient, fast-paced approach, with opportunities to float to higher acuity units as needed. Expect to handle a patient ratio of 4:1, perform documentation primarily in EPIC, and adhere to unit standards. This assignment offers a chance to experience a diverse range of cases in a supportive setting, all while focusing on delivering top-notch care in a collaborative team atmosphere.
