Job Description:

Join Carlsbad Medical Center as a travel Med/Surg RN and experience a role that keeps you engaged on a busy inpatient medical-surgical unit. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a general medical-surgical setting, with med-surg nurses often acting as the backbone of the hospital’s patient care team. Expect to float between rooms and handle a variety of patient needs, sometimes stepping into the role with a bit of short notice—think of it as a mini adventure in adaptability. Shifts are 12 hours long during the day, and the assigned schedule requires a minimum of 36 hours per week for a duration of 13 weeks. This assignment also involves floating responsibilities and occasional call duties during low census periods, providing an opportunity to demonstrate flexibility in a supportive environment.
