Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiac step-down unit in a hospital setting, where you'll provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures and managing complex heart conditions. This role involves monitoring continuous cardiac rhythms, interpreting EKGs, managing chest tubes and IV drips, and collaborating closely with physicians and rehab teams. You'll work in a newer tower within a 24-bed unit divided equally between step-down and med-surg patients, offering a dynamic yet focused environment for experienced cardiac nurses seeking to make an impact at every shift.
