Job Description:

Join a busy radiology department as a General Ultrasound Tech, where you'll primarily perform venous insufficiency studies, arterial duplex exams, abdominal scans, gynecological and obstetric ultrasounds, and some pediatric assessments. This contract offers a 12-hour day shift schedule with the opportunity to gain diverse experience across different ultrasound modalities. You'll work in a facility with five specialized rooms, utilizing advanced equipment like Phillips Elite and Parks Flo Lab, and will be expected to independently handle a variety of exams, including DVT, abdomen, small parts, OB, Gyn, and basic pediatrics. The role includes a mix of initial training days, evening shifts, and some overnight call responsibilities, making it a well-rounded opportunity for an experienced ultrasound professional wanting to expand their skills in a supportive, fast-paced setting. You will be part of a team committed to maintaining clean, well-stocked rooms and delivering high-quality imaging services to support patient diagnoses. This assignment provides a chance to work with experienced radiologists, utilize sophisticated PACS and EMR systems, and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment that values expertise and independence.
