Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU RN specializing in cardiac care in Decatur, Illinois. This night shift role involves caring for critically ill patients within a 20-bed unit, managing complex cardiac conditions, interpreting dysrhythmias, and performing advanced cardiac monitoring including obtaining 12-lead EKGs. You will be responsible for managing post-cardiac catheterization patients, handling IV therapies such as arterial lines and blood products, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. Expect to work closely with ventilated patients, assist with respiratory management including BiPAP and HFNC, and respond swiftly to emergencies. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work within a Level II Trauma Center, participating in diverse and challenging healthcare scenarios.
