Job Description:

Join a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit in Battle Creek, MI, for a daytime, 12-hour shift schedule. This contract offers a chance to work across all areas of LDRP, including antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, and newborn care, with opportunities to perform lab draws and newborn hearing screens. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and L&D, following AWHONN guidelines for staffing. Certifications such as ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM are mandatory. AWHONN Advanced certification is preferred. You’ll work every other weekend and may float to other areas when census dictates, including the Bronson Methodist facility in Kalamazoo, about 27 miles away. Scrubs are provided, and training on newborn hearing screens with the ALGO 5 machine will be included. Expect a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you truly make a difference during key moments in childbirth.
