Job Description:

This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work on an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric unit housed on a secure, locked floor of a hospital in Bismarck. You will be involved in supporting mental health treatment for adolescents and adults, often working with patients dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and the effects of substance abuse. The role involves actively engaging in patient rounds, assisting with crisis de-escalation, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in a busy hospital setting. The shifts are 12-hour nights, providing a chance to experience a unique shift structure that requires patience and strong communication skills—ideal for nurses who enjoy being hands-on and directly involved in patient management.
