Job Description:

Join our team as a MedSurg RN on a 12-hour day shift in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This assignment offers the chance to work across general medical and surgical units, caring for a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from chronic illnesses like COPD and Diabetes to acute infections and neurological disorders. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and operate equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacs, and telemetry monitors, all while utilizing the Epic electronic record system. The unit also involves procedures like colonoscopies, thoracentesis, and minor surgeries, making this a well-rounded experience for an experienced MedSurg nurse seeking variety and professional growth. Float privileges are included, primarily within medical units, and orientation is comprehensive to ensure your success in this Role.
