Job Description:

This travel assignment calls for a dedicated nurse prepared to work overnight shifts in a bustling obstetric and nursery setting. You'll be covering three 12-hour night shifts each week, with every third weekend on rotation. Flexibility is key, as scheduling blocks are not set—your ability to adapt will make a difference. The role involves supporting labor, delivery, and postpartum care, with responsibilities including managing OB triage and assisting in the nursery, mom-bom, and postpartum units. Experience with EPIC electronic health records and certifications such as Fetal Heart Monitoring, BLS, NRP, and ACLS are required. Additional float opportunities to medical-surgical or emergency units are preferred, adding variety to your week. This position offers a unique chance to become part of a team that manages approximately 30 births monthly, combining clinical expertise with a rewarding hospital environment.
